WHY DLP IS KING!
Since 1936, (First Television transmission), we have had a major problem of degenerative effect, in other words if you bought two TV’s and keep one in a box for only one year, then took the second one out you would see the first TV have a little less color and sharpness. After reading this statement you are probably thinking that MEAT has finally lost it! You might be saying that you have a 10 year old TV and it’s a good as the day you bought it. My mother thought her 5 years old TV was like that. I told her that we are human and SHE was adjusting to the picture loss. I sent her a new TV and she called me up and said it was better than going from black & white to color and she went down a prescription on her glasses.
The reason I told you the story was to tell you that the problem has been fixed! The answer is DLP! The secret is the mirrors in the chip. Kind of like your bathroom mirror will have less of a degenerative effect than your TV.
To give you another example, we have had LCD technology for over 35 years. How come NO movie theatres have changed over. They would have you see the little black spots on the screen, The breaks, and those wonderful strips on occasion than to have to change the LCD chip about every six months to make it look like brand new in the box.
Soooo, there you have it! Proof positive that DLP IS KING! When I want to see a movie, I look for:
1) Where the movie that I want to see is playing. 2) Where they have REAL BUTTER on their popcorn. 3) Where is the movie playing in DLP.
(Of course some of you would exchange #3 with #2).
Not only have we fixed the number one problem since TV’s came out, we even fixed movie theatres since movies were invented, all because of DLP, (Digital Light Processing).
